I can’t tell you how many straw cups we’ve gone through. (Speech pathologist friend recommended them over sippy cups.) The majority of them LEAKED. Finally, we came across this one. So far, so good!

I love the idea of protecting my babies’ skin (especially since they are pretty fair and tend to burn quickly). I don’t love all of the yucky ingredients in standard sunscreen. After doing tons of research, I ended up buying this:

Goes on smooth and contains one ingredient. Must reapply often but totally worth it to me!

Again, I love the idea of protecting that precious baby skin. Baby swimsuits are sooooo adorable…but provide next to nothing in terms of coverage or skin protection.
These rash guards are AWESOME. Not only do they cover almost the entire body, they are SPF 50+. AND they come in a two pack with sunglasses! We have used these suits in Mexico and Hawaii (hot, hot, hot) and both babies were well protected.

If you’re going to be out in the water (and sun), you definitely need a hat! I love that this comes with a chin strap you tie (as opposed to the velcro ones, which sometimes don’t stay put) and has a neck flap.

This is the best little swim boat! It’s a great way to introduce your little to the water AND there’s a canopy for some added shade. The steering wheel and horn are a bonus.
