Once upon a time, I MADE my own costumes. Now, this mama of two toddlers is all about a click of a button and two day shipping! Oh, and it can’t cost a gajillion dollars either.
For your viewing pleasure, I’ve compiled a list of ten fun family Halloween costumes. Enjoy!
This was our family costume the year Nugget was born. (Hard to believe I actually made ours!) As is customary in the Midwest, it was FREEZING on Halloween, so we ended up wearing coats on top of our cool outfits, womp womp. The absolute *BEST* part of the night, though, was when a kid came up to us and asked…”Who are you guys supposed to be?” It was then that I truly felt my age.
WINNIE THE POOH AND FRIENDS
This was our family costume last year, when Peanut joined the crew. I mainly chose this ensemble for its warmth (because of the freezing temps from the year before). Ironically, it was a balmy 70 degrees this year! We were dying in our costumes. LOL
Who doesn’t love food themed costumes? Seriously, how cute is the hamburger?!
GOALS! I would love to see our family dress as this one day. SO CUTE!
How amazing is this?! (Even though they look pretty form fitting.) So fun!
Who doesn’t love Sesame Street? The t-shirt is perfect for moms and dads who still want to dress up without going all out. If you do want to go all out, this Big Bird costume is AMAZING.
ASIAN TAKE OUT
I first saw the baby noodles onsie…TOO CUTE!! The rest of the costumes are gravy.
I’m kind of upset we already have our costumes…Nugget would LOVE this!!! Maybe next year…
SCOOBY DOO AND FRIENDS
Maybe I love this so much because it makes me nostalgic?! Would kids even know who we were? LOL
We introduced the girls to Toy Story this year and they are obsessed! I have to admit, I am too.
Hope you got some good ideas on a potential costume or two! Like this post? Please share!
